MY CAREGIVER NEEDED CARE
Waiting in the Pre-Op area.
Nurse attempting to find a vein to put in the IV.
This page is dedicated to my beautiful and loving wife.  She took care of me and now I get to take care of her.

Below are pictures of Cherie Worthen during her (before and after) Gall Bladder removal  surgery.
Cherie was just brought up to her room from recovery.  She is still sleeping.
Here, Cherie is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).  The doctor came in not to long after she had been brought to her room and told us that her Blood Count had dropped so low, they might have to do a Blood Transfusion.
Here, Cherie is back in her room recovering well, though she is on a clear liquid diet and can't do to much of anything on her own.
This surgery was difficult for Cherie but because of lots of prayer, she made it through without needing a Blood Transfusion.  She is home now and her wounds are almost completely healed.  However, she still has some pain, she is doing wonderfully.
