Eventhough, Johnnie has received his "Life Saving Liver Transplant", there are many things that must be done in order to keep the new Liver healthy. One thing is "Medication", which monthly cost is about $2,000 now. Also, being that the Hepatitis C virus has come back and is beginning to destroy the Liver Cells, Johnnie has to begin taking "Interferon" Treatments. So, in addition to his regular daily medicine, the PEGASYS (or "Interferon Treatments") will add a heafty $2000 - $2500 per month. So thats about $4000 - $4500 per month for medicine. Not only are we trying to make everyone aware of the fact that the "TRANSPLANT" is not the end. We also, want people who are in need of any kind of Organ Transplant to be aware of the possible cost.

You can help Keep "Johnnie" Alive. All you need to do is donate $5.00. That's it. Why such a small amount? Well, when you present to someone a contribution request explaining that your husband is in need of a liver transplant which can cost from $30,000 to $600,000, the first thing people think is, I don't have anything to donate. Well, let me share something with you, every little bit helps. If we can get enough people to make a tax-deductible contribution of $5.00, there would be a greater chance that we can raise the money versus no one contributing anything because they don't think their small contribution will matter.
